Domaine de Belambrée

Producer Overview:

Domaine de Belambrée sits on the Coteaux de la Trévaresse near Puyricard, a few minutes north of Aix-en-Provence. Caroline and Fabrice Joyeuse farm about 15 hectares of AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence vines on stony clay-limestone slopes at around 380 meters, certified organic since 2010. They make true vins de vigneron: wines that reflect their grower and their terroir.

Wines:

Rosé Cuvée Les Éphémères (AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence): 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, made by the saignée method. Pale pink, with delicate aromas of lychee and strawberry, floral notes of rose and hawthorn, then exotic fruit. Crisp, smooth and elegant on the finish. Lovely as an aperitif, with grilled peppers, pissaladière, tomato-basil tart or tuna tartare.
