Producer Overview:
Middle Earth's story starts more than 50 years ago on the same property the family still lives at now. Four generations have and continue to work on the land. A producer of premium 100% sustainable wines, the land's life as vineyards started in 1996, when they began growing for one of New Zealand’s most successful wine brands – Kim Crawford. From there plantings grew and they quickly became recognized as a grower for other elite NZ wineries around the country. 2012 marked an exciting time with the launch of MIDDLE-EARTH Vineyards. The family now has the enjoyment of providing the complete vine to bottle offering for wine lovers here and abroad.
